How it works.
Four steps from zero to flexing, then everything it sends, how it scores, and the fine print.
Install
In Claude Code, paste these two lines:
/plugin marketplace add Spider333/cclevel/plugin install cclevel@cclevel
Needs Python 3.9 or newer, nothing else. From a shell instead: claude plugin install cclevel --marketplace Spider333/cclevel
Meet your creature
Run /pet. It reads your Claude Code folder on your machine and prints your card. Nothing goes to the board.

1. 14 own skills unused for 90 days. Skill issue: archive them (Health +11)

An example card with invented numbers. The one rule: what you use counts far more than what you install.
Join the board
Say /pet join the leaderboard. It shows you exactly what it would send and asks first. Joining doesn't list you publicly. To be ranked on the world lists, say /pet put me on the world list. You show up after check-ins on two different days.
Check in once a day with /pet check in, or let it happen by itself: /pet check in automatically runs one quiet check-in a day when Claude Code starts (off until you say so). The board ranks only XP it watched you earn after joining, at most 550 a day, so a long history or an edited file doesn't buy a top spot.
Bring friends
- Start a group:
/pet start a group. You get an invite link and a made-up crew name, like Stormy Lemur Crew. - Send the link to friends. Opening it shows the crew's name and how to join. The code after
#stays in the browser. - They paste it into Claude Code:
/pet join <link>. One yes joins the board and the group. - Compare:
/pet show my group. Up to 25 members see each other's names, levels, XP and stats. Nobody else does. Whoever earns the most XP this week wears the ♛ crown; weeks start Monday, 00:00 UTC.
Anyone with the link can join until the group is full, so share it with friends only. If it leaks, start a new group.
Talk to /pet
Just say what you want. Anything that sends something asks first.
| Say | What happens |
|---|---|
/pet | Your card. Offline. |
/pet join the leaderboard | Join the board (shows the data, asks first) |
/pet check in | Update your row, once a day |
/pet check in automatically | One quiet check-in a day when Claude Code starts; stop checking in automatically turns it off |
/pet put me on the world list | Be ranked publicly; off works at once |
/pet rank me | Your place, the XP to pass the next one, and how rare your badges are; worked out on your machine, uploads nothing |
/pet start a group | A private group and its invite link |
/pet join <link> | Join a friend's group |
/pet show my group | Your crew's leaderboard and this week's ♛ |
/pet leave the board | Delete your row at once |

Plus a random key made on your machine, so your check-ins land on the same row. The board keeps only its hash.
Only if you ask for them: a private group's invite code (the board keeps only its hash) and the GitHub login for the badge.
Never sent: your name, e-mail, prompts, code, file paths, or the names of your projects and skills. The board stores no IP address. Your creature's name is made up from a random key on your machine.
Don't trust us, read it: the code and every field the board stores.
How it scores
XP is earned per finished day, at most 550 a day, and sets your level from 1 to 99. Six stats from 0 to 100 add up to your Aura:
| Stat | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Grind | Days used out of the last 30, and streaks |
| Appetite | Weighted tokens over the last 30 days |
| Arsenal | Skills, connectors and subagent types actually used |
| Brains | Ten checks of wiring that is in use |
| Autonomy | Sessions that ran without you, and scheduled jobs that call Claude |
| Craft | Edits, commits, pull requests and published pages |

Fine print
How ranking works
Season is the XP a creature earned this month; All-time is everything since it joined. Both count only daily XP the board credited itself, at most 550 per active day, without badge XP. Level is shown as each owner's own scanner reports it, and does not set the order. Equal XP shares a place. The top 1,000 are listed; below them the board publishes the XP needed for each band, and --rank works out your place on your own machine. Lists are rebuilt every six hours.
What sus means
A creature with at least 14 witnessed days of which 80% or more were credited at the full 550 XP. It changes nothing else: not the place, not the XP, not the listing. It cannot catch a script that claims a little less, and does not pretend to.
The GitHub badge
Optional. ✓ login · 123 means the owner proved that GitHub account is theirs, and 123 of its public commits carry Claude Code's co-author line. It never changes a place or XP. The count sees public default branches only, counts a squash merge once, and cannot tell a hand-typed line from a real one.
Privacy
The board holds no account, e-mail address or IP address. A creature is its score (nine numbers and a list of badges), a generated name, the hash of a random token and a few dates and counters. It appears on the world lists only while its owner keeps the world ranking on; --world off and --leave take it off at once. Totals count every creature with check-ins on two days, listed or not, and appear only from 100 creatures. PRIVACY.md lists every field.
